Cranberry Sauce

A holiday favorite, my mom's VT Cider Cranberry Sauce. This is easy to make with simple ingredients and it's delicious! Cranberries are rich in antioxidents and phyenols, so they have heart, immune and anti-aging benefits. Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1 ¼ Cup Apple Cider

½ Cup & 2 Tbs Maple Syrup

12 oz Fresh - Rinsed or Frozen Cranberries

(Optional additions: ½ tsp orange zest and a tiny pinch of ground cloves)

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat 15 min. Allow to cool, container and store in the refrigerator for up to 10 days.

Note, this recipe makes a lot - my mom recommends making ½ a batch. Whether you choose to make a full or 1/2 batch, you may still have leftover cranberry sauce, so be sure to check out our blog post on what to do with the leftovers!
