Rosemary, garlic and olive oil, some ingredients for a marinade

Marinades are delicious and easy! They are a great way to increase flavor and the healthfulness of grilled protein and veggies too. Please avoid eating anything charred on the grill for your health!

How To:

  • Marinades are made by whisking together ingredients in a bowl and then using the marinade to cover the protein or veggies for 1-24 hrs in the fridge (4 hours is optimal). Avoid exposing veggies or meat to air for the best results.

  • Marinated meat can be zip locked together without air and frozen right away for use later. This is a great way to prep a marinade for today and also prep one for easy future use.

  • To defrost, place frozen marinated meat in the refrigerator for 24 hrs. Always discard marinade that you have used on meat.

  • Cook your protein as you prefer on the grill, broiler, skillet and/or oven. Here’s a yummy example, great for steak but would be yummy for chicken or veggies as well.

We hope you enjoy this delicious and easy Balsamic Dijon Marinade Recipe. Happy
