Lemon Herb Chicken Marinade

Labor Day Weekend Grilling Inspiration! This also makes great baked or sautéed chicken!

Ingredients

1/3 cup olive or raw nut/seed oil

1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice

1 tablespoon chopped fresh or 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves

2 teaspoons chopped fresh or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme leaves

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1/4 teaspoon Himalayan or Celtic Salt

1/4 teaspoon freshly cracked pepper

Instructions

  1. In shallow dish or resealable bag, mix all ingredients. Add about 1 lb meat; cover or seal, and refrigerate at least 4 hours or overnight max 12 hours.

  2. Remove meat from marinade; discard marinade. Cook meat as desired.
